This
rare circa 1880's No. 1 size kerosene oil stem lamp is
the "Canadian Bullseye" or "Bullseye Fine
Detail" pattern, in two color form. Reference Thuro
book 1, pg. 270. This example has the clear patterned
font, with opaque blue milk glass stem. Wonderful color,
a light powder blue. 9 1/4" to the top of the
collar. One very shallow flake under the foot, right
under the mold mark, otherwise flawless with crisp
pattern. Correct ribbing around the stem bullseye. A true
collector's lamp; fine period Victorian addition to any
kerosene oil lamp collection. |
