Circa
1910 early electric Williamson leaded glass hanging
lantern. Great form, with 4 leaded glass panels, each
with a central diamond shaped center panel,
extending out from the shade. Curved and bent glass upper
and lower borders. Great quality slag glass; canary
yellows with amber striations; forest greens, fusia, and
all center diamonds in purple, green and white striped
glass. Exceptional lit. Original brass fittings with
single original pull chain socket, original chain and
canopy. Large size shade at 12 1/2" long and
10" wide. As seen, it will hang approximately
25" from the ceiling; there are several extra links
of the original chain to be included, this would allow a
few more inches in length if desired. Two of the bottom
bent panels have tight cracks, not noticable when
hanging, should probably not be replaced, better
kept with original glass. Exceptional early
electric hanging leaded lantern, fine addition to any
decor or restoration. |
