Pink Cased Mother Of Pearl Junior or Miniature Shade
Diamond quilted pattern on a ribbed optic body, shading light pink at the fitter to deep raspberry pink at the deeply ruffled and crimped top. Cased with white. Mother Of Pearl was manufactured by trapping pockets of air between the layers of glass to form the pattern, an extremely difficult form of Victorian art glass to produce. This shade had a standard 2 3/4" straight kerosene fitter, stands 5" tall, 7" across the ruffles. Flawless condition. Exceptional finishing touch for any miniature or junior size Victorian lamp.
